Blog # 2: Sweet, Sweet Poison - Aspartame & Artificial Sweeteners - The greatest lie never told.

We grow up as kids in America thinking that because we have the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) that we are safe from anything that could enter our bodies from the local market. EEEENNNTT Wrong. That is one of the biggest fallacies "they" (who ever "they" are) have brainwashed us into believing. Maybe it used to be true, but those days are far-gone. Artificial sweeteners such as aspartame is in just about everything these days. From diet sodas, to gum, to coffee sweeteners, and everything in between. Chances are that if you are eating anything sweet that says natural sweeteners, or reduces sugar on the package, you are eating aspartame.
How is aspartame made?
Well I guess I could beat around the bush but I'm not that type of person so I'll just give it to you straight.
Its made from E-COLI POOP!. Thats right it is made from the feces of genetically modified bacteria. In this video (23:58) Alex Jones does a great job investigating into aspartame and exposing it the neurotoxin that it is. Whether you agree with his point of views or not isn't the point. Aspartame is the most widely studied additive that is out on the market today, and I do implore you to do your own research.
In "Aspartame: 'Sweet Misery' A Poisoned World" (1:29:55) (if an hour is too long you can watch the trailer here) doctors, scientists, neurologist, attorneys, and politicians dive into the research on how such neurotoxins affect the endocrine and nervous systems, and how known poisons like aspartame are still on the market today. The results may shock you.
What are neurotoxins?
Neurotoxin is derived from 2 words, the word neuro meaning "nerve" and toxin meaning "poison", I think you can figure it out from there. Many doctors and scientists have seen a rise in neurological disorders in epidemic proportion, like brain cancer, Alzheimer's, autism, alcoholism, heart attack, and many other chronic illnesses. Here is a list of neurological diseases, if you have one or more of these I highly recommend you start reading your labels and cut out aspartame, and research the other ingredients if you are uncertain what they are. This is also especially important for women who are planning on having a baby, pregnant, or nursing, and kids, as the effects of these poisons will be much grater on those who's nervous systems are still developing.
How do you avoid Aspartame?
Like I said READ THE LABELS before you put it in your body, stay away from anything that is artificially sweetened, and eat whole foods. But to help you out with some of the more frequent ones that we injest on a regular basis, here is a list of some foods/ drinks to keep in mind:
